I agree LOVE is the most important ingredient. If there is love, everything else falls into place by itself.

I believe that if it truly is love, trust will follow. One can't be without the other. Nothing is mutually exclusive. But love above all is the one sentiment that people around the world seem to take too lightly or are letting go of. It is also something that I believe is the one thing that can be our saviour in the present day and age. Trust will be there if there really is love...not necessarily the other way round.

Respect is most important I think no love or honesty can stay if you partner keeps belittling you all the time and does not respect your judgement and opinions.

Of course trust is an important ingredient! I think however that LOVE is also a very important ingredient! Of course love isn't always there right away in the beginning, and I suppose sometimes it never presents itself... but trust, love, and the willingness to compromise are very, very important in my opinion!
