Ok - So I must admit that before I met my husband, I had never watched a minute of football in my life. My husband, however, is a adie hard hard football fan and an even bigger Dallas Cowboys fan. The other day, we heard Warren Sapp say that he think the cowboys record for the 2009-2010 year will be 8-8...that's rediculous b/c I think they have a better team than that. I think that their record will be 12-4 or at the worst, 11-5...What do you think? Do you think ROMO has what it takes to take us all the way?

dallas cowboys - One of my favorite Foot ball teams
Well I am not sure who is going to go all the way. But I am also a dallas and Pittsburgh Fan. I think ROMO can do it. My husband laughs at me because I am a Dallas fan. He told me about the times when the Steelers played against Dallas. We are from Pittsburgh.

LOL! my hubby, being a dallas fan, cannot stand the steelers...mainly b/c the steelers now have their 6th super bowl ringand have passed Dallas as the team with most SB wins...hahah..I am hoping that Dallas does it this year!

No way, you cannot be a Dallas and a Pittsburgh fan!!! That is like being a Yankee and a Red Sox fan, or Cubs and Cardinals, or Ohio State and Michigan, or Duke and North Carolina. Anyway, just kidding you have every right to like both of them. Just kinda funny. I hope the Cowboys do well this year, I am still not sold on Romo. Some times he looks like a Hall of Famer, then sometimes he looks like a guy that couldn't get a scholarship offer to a D-1 school. I don't know, I think getting rid of TO was a good thing, Roy Williams should have a spectacular year. I hope he does, I am trying to get him on my fantasy team. As far as record, I am thinking 10-6 will be a good target, wild-card and maybe one win in the playoffs. Just not sold on Romo.

I'm a big football fan. I miss football season and can't wait until the first Monday night game - even if Tony Kornheiser did quit he job in the booth. Oh well...Getting rid of Terrell Owens was the best thing that have happened to the Cowboys in years. I think their record will end up being 10/6, but I see them making the playoffs.

Hi Ambie - I too miss football season. Ofcourse my husband insisted that we order the NFL channel so now he can watch football 24/7...this way he doesn't go crazy... Yes, getting rid of TO was a good think for the cowboys - he was not a very good receiver yet he thought he was...

Based on their lack of pass defense against the Giants on Sept. 20, 2009, not good. I could have completed some of those passes in the last drive for the Giants; that is how open the receivers were. That conservative defense meant no defense.
