Have you tried your luck in lottery or money matters? I have tried a lot of course not like crazy- i mean to say i have never gone overboard. I purchased lottery tickets a lot of time and have never own a rupee. I gambled also and failed. I have been in the stock market and have depleted the invested money manyfold. The people who started their stock market venture from scratch of money and knowledge under my friendly(not professional) advice have attained a status that is enviable and i am where i was, even worse. All my online money making efforts have failed. What about you?

I buy two lottery tickets a week, for $3. I buy one ticket for the 649 draw on Wednesday night, and another 649 ticket on Saturdays. I won $10 last week, and $2 this week. I have to go in tomorrow and check my ticket to see what I won this week, and then buy another ticket for the Saturday draw.

well im a smart gambler, gambled in sports and such and my win record is a little bit high. Because i always think of the game, playes and such. And the advice of analyst. Well i have tried a free online stock market that is based on the local stock market and im kinda ok but the bad thing about is that i don't have any extra money to venture on the stock market. But maybe in the future

i have purchased lot of lottery tickets in hope of big good money, but never won. Yes i have earn lot of money through stock market by using simple rule " buy on bad news and sell on good news". I make lot of money in reliance share, and sugar sector. now again sugar sector is going up and my sleeping equity shares are ready to give me some profit. you know bajaj hindustan i purchased at Rs 53 and now it is Rs 220 so lots of profit. One thing i believe is that never feel bad if you loose money, it is not yours that is way it is not coming to you. All the best.

I purchased lottery tickets from time to time. But I'm not not addicted like others who buy tickets everyday. I can't certainly buy my fortune through it. I was simply helping other charities that the lotteries are sponsoring with my brought tickets.

Hi, i have never buy lottery before. This is because i feel that the chance for us to win is very low. It is just the matter of possibilities. It can be calculated, and actually we can know that the possibility for our number to hit the number is very thin. So, the winner in the end is still the owner of the lottery. As the old people saying, out of ten times we gamble, there will be nine times we will lose. Sometimes i think it's not even nine times, it's ten. It's all dependent on luck, and we all know that we're not always so lucky. So, it's better not to take the risk to gamble or buy lottery. If we want to make some good money, we can look for better and safer ways, such as involve in investments, or buy some funds or unit trust offered by the banks. I think these are much safer and can guaranteed a better return of investments.

That was three years ago when i decided to join a tv game show here in the Philippines and luckily i won P 90,000 (Peso is the currency here in our country). That was around $ 2,000. The name of the game show was Laban o Bawi in noon time variety show. At first i never knew that i would be picked as one of the the lucky contestants and i would reach the final round. I gave half of the prize to my parents and the other half for me to buy my own laptop for my studies.

I hope you have learnt your lesson and will stay off them in the future. I have never bought a single lottery ticket in my whole life as I dont believe in the concept of lottery. I really think there's more than meets the eye there. Regarding gambling or the stock market, no, I believe in earning whatever I do the hard way and keeping it in the bank...the money may grow slowly but it does grow, there's no fear of it evaporating overnight!

Not with any regularity. I will buy the scratch cards ($1 cards) a couple of times a year. I rarely win anything and the most ever won by my purchase has been one time of $10. I like to buy them for stocking stuffers at Christmas time. my husband will buy the regular lottery tickets seldomly - maybe 3 times in the past nine years. no winnings as of yet - lol.

I may sound conceited but I am lucky when it comes to gambles and it frightens me. Before, I taught it was just coincidence whenever I am winning in playing cards with my friends then came a time where I won continuously in different raffles. I started to think, hey, I am really lucky but there's a price to pay for being lucky. I don't want to test my luck anymore because I don't know what I will loose this time. I've never got addicted to gambling and I hope I'll never will. When my friends ask me to go out with them since I am their lucky charm as they call it, I will turn them down and stay at home instead.

Just like you, I had tried the lottery many times, almost once a week, I didn't win anything so far. I am so jealousy of those people who won millions of dollars already. I also invested in stock market once with a group of friends, but we all lost that money. Maybe it just not my luck yet.

Hi akumei, Sure I have tried buying lottery tickets many times. But you know what? Somehow I have never ever won anything. I also had ventures into other money matters as you described and well, if only I had been more successful.

I have tried the lottery many times . The biggest winning I had so far was P100. I only bet on Wednesdays since it says that it is my lucky day. The money that the government gets from this betting goes to charity. So, think about it, even if you did not win, at least you were able to help in your small way.

Yes. I tried lottery but I don't have any luck with as well. :( At present, I am active investing in the stock market. I actually started investing last 2007. But I lost more than half of my money. Only paper loss though as I am not seling yet. I am glad I did hold to my stocks cause the prices now are slowly cathing up. In the stock market, no one really knows what will happen. No one knows as to what is the bottom and what is the top prices. The key is constant monitoring and studying the company's figure to ensure that you are up-to-date with your investment. I learned a lot since I started with the Stock Market. Now, I don't aim for very high return. I have a monthly income target and when I reach it, I sell my stocks and buy another one.
