What do you think that makes The Godfather Series such a hit?

Every one love the gangster lifestyle. Just look at kids today all wanting to be in gangs know wonder gang film make money. What kids dont see is most dont last longer than a year before they are killed off.

Firstly .. its about the story with no LOOP HOLES!!! And ofcourse the awesome direction made the movie series also a big hit! It set forth a new era of underworld crime movies... all round the world! The part I like a lot is the ITALIAN style MUSIC.. It's just too addictive!

i personally think the unpredictable story line. the actors performance is also superb. and nevertheless, the slow and eerie background score. it keeps the suspense alive throughout. perfect blend. a complete movie. like the AAMIR KHAN OF GHAJNI in your frame. hehehe.......

My personal views why this movie make a big hit is,the first thing to noticed were the actors,the lead characters,the story is just always second based upon.Just take ourseleves as one of the critic and make surveys of your own choice.What's the first thing that will came up to your mind when you choose a movie to watch for? Isn't it the lead actors we first noticed?,then the story line follows. So,the director and the producers made a great chemistry of teaming up good actors that fits the story too.Then the production make way to the top.

The fact that it's a rags to riches movie. The main character started from poor upbringing then became rich by becoming tough. WHo doesn't want that? We all have a secret longing to be able to do what we want to do even if it's illegal but we can't. The characters in this movie are able to do that and succeed at it.
