How the Lakers roll

The Los Angeles Lakers are a game away from locking u up the NBA championship over an Orlando Magic side that, after a spectacular learning spurt, suddenly sputtered. In previous series, Orlando had shown remarkable ability to adapt, and comeback. Now, the Lakers are teaching them how it's done. In Game 4, Orlando had all the chances, including a 12 point lead at halftime. But bad play by rookie Courtney Lee (driving straight into the Laker defense and losing the ball) precipitated their decline in the third period, causing them to commit a string of fouls and give LA momentum to suddenly come back. Trevor Ariza strung 13 points, and the lead vanished.

Lakers just have to keep the pressure on the Magic and the championship will be pretty much in the bag. I expect the Magic to play very hard and probably very rough in game five. Suspect the refs will let it go to. I think they will win that game just plain leaving it all on the court. Game six is where I think it will end for sure. If the Magic win game five I don't think they'll have enough in the tank to force a game seven.
