That makes you sing along no matter where you are. I have several that no matter where I am I just have to sing along, they also always make me happy. Fishin in the Dark is one of those songs for me. And just about anything by George Strait

I could write a post several pages long on this one...lol. My first choice is Never too late by Three Days Grace or some of their other songs, and anything by Shinedown. My music taste varies from Contemporary Christian to Heavy Metal Rock. But, the one that will now and always get my attention is Amazing Grace.

When I heard my email chime that I had a new one and saw that it was a response the this discussion my first thought was that right now, for me it is Amazing Grace. There have been so many things that have happened in the past few years in my life that I am only now just begingin to understand that I truely am blessed by God's grace. It really is amazing this thing: grace.

Absolutely. I totally agree with you on that. We never really know how much Grace we have been shown and the blessings that we receive until we either look back on it or look around us at others that have harder times than we do.

As you well know there are many good songs out there that simply have to be sung to. For me they are the upbeat make me happy songs too. Almost any Chris LeDoux song is good for that and also good for cleaning house, and I also love to sing with the song "Lord I hope This Day is Good". Then there are the oldies like "Sneeky Snake" by Tom T Hall, and "Stand by Your Man". I still use a song I learned in elementary school to mix cakes to as it take exactly 3 minutes to sing it all the way through, but I have not heard it in years so I have to sing it on my own.

yes, i like stand by your man.I like golden oldies, easy-listening music and country songs. I like the songs of the carpenters, don mc lean, david gates, barry manilow, barbra streisand, abba, bee gees, beatles, the monkees, frank sinatra, tome jones, neil sedaka, helen reddy, melissa manchester, charlene, gary lewis and the playboys, chicago, air supply. their songs are rarely played on air because of the trend, now i just sing some of their songs on my own. that wouldn't guarantee if I memorized the lyrics though. But listening to music eases me of my worries
