Who went to there JR/Sr. Prom?

I did, and I had a lousy time. I got all dressed up and was looking better than I had ever looked before, and I went with my boyfriend at the time. They had the place all decked out with balloons and a DJ, and the front lobby area had been transformed into a little casino, and we were given chips to gamble with. This is ALL my boyfriend did ALL night. He sat at the blackjack table. All night. He didn't dance with me, he didn't talk with me, and I spent the entire night hanging out with other people I knew and their dates. The only person I danced with that night was my best friend (who was a girl). The only redeeming thing about it was that I realized a few days later that prom really, really doesn't matter anyway.
