Finding Referral Through myLot task

Good day every one! I wish I was wrong but I noticed that some members are using myLot task to get some referrals for their PTC accounts. They offer a very low amount of reward and in return they will surely earn much more cash than the money they spend because of those referral. Do you think it's OK? Is it ethical? I'm asking because as far as I know, putting referral link on myLot is prohibited. Thanks indeed in advance for your response. Cheers!

I am not too sure about the rules but if they trick you into signing up as their referral in another program, then it is not ethical. If they amke it clear that this is expected of you, and you agree to still do the task, then I supose it is ok. Some people are very fast thinkers when it comes to business and can smell an opportunity a mile away. I never even thought that there is an opportunity to get referals in putting out tasks. I hope for their sake it is legal.

Ok,I see what you meen. After responding to this discussion, I went to tasks and I saw it. They offer rediculous rewards. I will not do any of those tasks for that amount. I can do a few discussions or responses in the same time as it would take to do the task, and make even more money. But I suppose some are willing to do the tasks, they know what is expected of them and they know the reward, if they still want to do it, its fine. I would rather do discussions and earn more, and get to spend more time with mylotters. Blessings

I've had the idea too of using myLot tasks to gain referrals for other websites. I have not tried it yet but I am hoping that doing this is OK. Maybe it is for now, and won't be latter on. As for putting referral links on myLot, I have some on my profile.

I guess it would be just fine if you offer reasonable reward. This type of task really drew my attention because the regular tasks that I notice (and take) offer reasonable reward. The "Post some text and a link to a specific site" task is easy and can be completed in about 5 minutes once we are familiar with it. The "answer a series of questions....." task is a bit more time consuming and the article writing task is the toughest although it gives good rewards. That's just my opinion by the way. Thanks for responding. Cheers!

If I was to create a task to do some referral hunting, I will not ask a person to do a list of things unless I am willing to pay a little more.

I personally don't like the idea. It seems really shady. The payout for us is very low, compared to the amount of money the tasker is offering to pay. I don't think it's really okay, seeing as how mylot ref links aren't allowed. On the other hand, it's pretty smart of them to do that, if people actually accept the task, and do it, they'd be making a lot of money.

You can say that again, buddy! They certainly will make a lot of money if people accept the task. We can see it from several points of view, actually. Only, it's just not a right thing to do for me. I guess they really are smart. Cheers!

Hi, In my point of view, as long as it does not break any terms and conditions of Mylot and the related affiliate program, it is ok to find referrals through mylot task. I have also thought of gaining referrals through such tasks. At the end of the day, one is just sharing the earnings with the referrals.

That's the problem. I'm not quite sure whether the terms and conditions allow such thing and It seemed like a grey area whether we can be sure it is OK or not. Anyway, people have their right to do what they want. Only, I myself would never do similar thing. Cheers!
