My wife called me on my mobile since I was away from my city and told me that our monitor/TV is not displaying colours. I thought that there may be some fault in my monitor. I told her that don't do anything more I will see after I came there. When I come to my home it was really showing only blue screen and what I see everything is blue and some letters and pictures were looking black. When I changed it to TV mode it is displaying all colours. I tried to chage setting in control panel in display section it is shwing 16 bit and 32 bit, I checked both but in vein. Kindly some one can help me in finding problem or I have to check from the service engineer. Waiting for reply.

I had atleast the same problem before happened to my TV. I didn,t use it for almost three months, and when I thought of watching some Tv programs It has no display at all just a sound. After a few minutes it shows some colored lines and letters are black too. I didn't know what happened since the last time I used it, it works perfectly fine, afterwards here is it displayiong nothing but some colored lines and blackish letters. What I did was to bring it to a service center, and have it checked by an authorized techinician. After a few series of checks, it was found out that some capacitors were damaged and needed to be changed. When these capacitors were replaced by new ones, it finally worked perfectly fine until now. So I guess the problem of your monitor or Tv might be the same as what happened to mine. It is better to have it checked by a technician, so that it can be thoroughly checked and repaired.
