A fellow parent called and said she had just played hostess to seven of her son's friends. They just invited themselves and stayed overnight playing computer games. And she automatically cooked food for breakfast, lunch, and supper. When she called me, she had just finished mopping the floor and washing the linen. I asked her if she's okay. She said yes because the children, age ranging from 16 to 19, had fun. I told her I do that too for my children. But my girls just watch DVD films and talk through the night. I do all the dishes. Yeah, she said, that's all right, better than the children taking drugs in some filthy place. At least we know what the children are doing.
