I used to buy a lot of CDs. I really got my own collection. But then I got some music from my friends and brother, new songs that I don't think I'll like all the songs in the CD, just one or two, not all. Then my brother introduce me to some sites where people share music for free. So I tried to download some because it's free. But I'd still love CDs anyway especially if it's my favorite singer. Besides, I believe that the sound quality will be much better too than downloading free from the net. Maybe I'm old fashioned. LOL!

Actually I do all. I seldom buy CDs. But for old hit songs of our native language (which my Dad forces me to buy)can only be bought! Because, downloading will do no good.. He wants to hear them in the CD player connected to TV. As for English songs, which I hear frequently, I download it. I have a subscription to piratebay.org, a torrent website. Usually torrent websites have many abusive content in them. But pirate bay is one of the very few 'good and family friendly' type of torrent websites. So I mass download albums or collection from there. For individual song downloads I refer to Ruworth.com. It is a free music and Lyrics provider. I felt good for sharing. And I wouldn't call you Old-fashioned. Just a good woman who doesn't like piracy. People like you should be encouraged, I guess! Regards, Ajith.

Hi. Thanks for sharing. My father like to buy CDs of my native language too because his children doesn't really tuned in to his favorites =). We listened to lots of English songs too. The problem with downloading is in my country (a bit high-speed) internet provider is not yet cheap. I have this 1Gb quota/month for 20USD. So, mostly now, when I'm after a particular song I asked my brother to download it from his computer because he uses unlimited quota and it costs about 80-100USD. Well, I'm in a tight budget, so right now CDs are not an option. But I'll check the sites you told me. Once again, thanks for sharing.

It is very good for what you had in your country. I wish my country could soon provide such cheap hi-speed internet service. Thanks Ajith.

Well our country recently launched a 'cheap' unlimited download scheme. It's for 750 Rupees. Around 17-18 US Dollars. But considering other services, this is quite inexpensive. I used to have a 1GB quota too. That was just for 250 Rupees a month- 6$. But when I used to download stuff, bill used to be around 20$. SO I switched to more speedy and less money spending connection. And if you are in a tight budget- never download torrents or stream videos. You can see the bill shooting up! Regards, Ajith.

I just store and save the song in the computer and the sound are also good. I downloaded it from free downloading site. Obviously original copy are of good quality than free one. Its our own choice if we prefer free or buy.
