Sleeping Apart...

A recent survey on couples suggest that one in five people choose to snooze alone due to their partner's bad bed habits. What do you think about this?Personally, I want to share my bed with my loved ones at all time. Surely there's no habit bad enough that would change my mind..?

Hello georgianswift86 I am quite fortunate in that I have a lovely, wonderful bed partner, who is also my spouse. My two favourite parts of the day are waking up to her beside me in the morning, and in the evening when I get to fall asleep holding her. I suppose that I wouldn't feel this way if she was a loud snorer and / or had sleep Apnea and had to wear a CPAP machine. That might be bothersome and lend me to considering other sleeping arrangements. Or, if she had a large, festering, malodorous wound. Or if she simply had bad body odour as a result of poor personal hygiene. Or if she had an especially irritating nose whistle. Or if she clipped her toenails in the bed and let the clippings into the bed linen. Or if she explored her nose with her fingers and wiped her findings on the pillow casings. I once had a horrid bed partner who was basically the person I described in paragraph three. In fact, I so dreaded sleeping with her that I designed and built a new house that included separate areas for us. Thankfully, I don't have to worry about any of that and am quite thankful for my lovely bed partner. :)

I'm glad I've grown accustomed to my partner's "bad habits." After all - isn't that what makes relationships so exciting? Trying to adjust and adapting to seeing each other - then eventually living together? I honestly don't think that we'll sleep apart when we get married. I'm too touchy to not want to cuddle with the love of my life.

you are obviously very new to your relationship or very much still in love with your partner, i prefer to sleep any where except next to my wife at the moment as i have a broken arm and she is a very restless sleeper riling all over the bed with arms flailing all night,

my husband do share bed early in the evening like until 1am and he will move into family room and sleep into the couch because he really snores that loud that i can even hear him even he is out in the family room. he sounds like a truck that tries to pull up his engines to cross the mountain on top. He knows that. When we sleep together i always wake him up when the snore gets loud so he can change his position and i dont like disturbing him im just worried that soemthing wrong will happen. He dont like me staying up all night because i cant sleep with his snores so he always volunteer to move to the family room.

Well thats really bad if one snoozes alone just because of partner's bad habits. This habits are natural and cannot be control by people while sleeping but according to me we should be together with our partner, according to me we should adjust with our loved ones and no bad habits of my partner would make me snooze alone...
