I've been thinking about how to get new referrals myself too. I've come up with some refreshing ideas ( I think). One would be making an ebook and tell people they can get it for free if they sign up under you. You can also use emoticons, make sure they contain a link to your site and on that site you have posted some programs. ;) I mostly get my inspiration on the blackhat area of the bussiness. ( Hint hint hint...)

It's actually hard. Getting referral may be not that hard, but getting ACTIVE referral is the hardest. Me, after posting my link on yahoo answers or other forum, I get 10 referrals, but unfortunately they are all fake, I said fake because they don't contribute anything after joining myLot, just passing by and then gone. I have only one referral that posting 5 responses in past few days, and now he's probably gone too.
