Smiling is a great thing! It can brighten up not only the day of the person smiling but that of many people around them! I've smiled a few times today, yes, and it was a great feeling.

I have smiled a few times today and it makes me feel good inside. When I smile at people they smile back at me. When people smile at me I feel good and I have a good day no matter where I am at. If I am having a bad day at work sometimes I dont feel like smiling but when I do I feel better and work is not so bad after all. Smile it is contagious.

Smiling is painful. Anyone who sees me smile runs screaming in terror. A smile is an invitation to talk and talk is more painful than smiling. World Smiling Day is a nasty Illuminati plot to make everyone ignore the bitter truths of life and hide behind smiles of acceptance and vulgar meekness. A smile's cost can be measured in the lives lost every second someone wastes smiling instead of focusing on and trying to solve the world's problems. Smiling at hunger, disease and war does not work. Sorry, that was the "evil me". I put him back in the cellar and now I'm smiling!

I'm a generally happy person, so every day is smiling day for me. A smile not only makes you and whoever you smile at feel good, it's a good workout for the facial muscles as well. My husband is living proof of this. He's always smiling - it was one of the things that attracted me to him in the first place - and although he's 75, most people think he hasn't even reached retirement age yet! Thanks for this topic - you've made me smile again!
