I have been staying in a hotel for quite a long time. Recently I was flipping through the channels, at around 11 o'clock I stopped at Star Movies and a movie was started. And the movie was.............. 1408 I never heard of the movie before (as I stopped watching movies for a while). As it was very interesting, I was glued to the TV. As the story unfolded, I began feeling creepy becuase what I was looking at, I felt like I was inside the movie becuase I am also watching from my hotel room. (Those of you who were not aware of the story, it goes like a writer wants to spend a night in a haunted hotel room whose number is 1408. When you add these numbers you will get 13 and it is considered as a bad omen). By the time movie was over, it was 1 o'clock and it took a lot of time for me to get over that strange frightening feeling. For a short period, I even frightened to enter into the bathroom and it felt like something will come out from behind the wall and catch me. I want to know from my fellow mylotters that anyone had such an experience ?

I remember watching that movie, and it really freaked me out too! I am working in a hotel, so I really was able to imagine everything that's on the movie. And it's funny, the hotel that I am working in is kinda old so that added up to my fear. But after some time, I got over it and me and my friends who also work in the hotel and who saw the movie were just joking around about it. But that was a good movie I think.

Well, I admire you for watching the movie all the way to the end while inside the hotel. If i were you, I would have changed the channel!

Thankfully that hasn't happened to me. I'd have been a basketcase. I haven't even seen that movie, reading the book was enough for me. And to actually be staying in a hotel at the time would have put me over the edge.

Even though it was scary, at the same time, I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of watching. :-)

Nothing quite like that has happened to me, but I did have to look under my bed after watching my fist X-files episode.

I remember when I was younger I would watch horror movie constantly and I always knew it was fake and that I shouldn't be scared over it so I wouldn't fright over anything but sometimes there are times where it was late at night and I just got done watching a more realistic movie and that is when it started to feel creepy. Kind of when its dark and you're all alone and you think well what if there is a stranger waiting for me in the dark hallway etc. or someone watching me through a window. Overall you know its all fake but its still like when you're 3-4 and you think if you keep your hand or foot over the side of your bed the monster under the bed is gonna get you.
