make sure there is a cool air flow in your computer. all fans are working well and not all the parts are touching each other like two harddisk on top of each other. or you can open the hatch on your pc cover so air can easily go inside it

I think most computers have a fan. But if one isn't enough to cool it down, then maybe attaching another one would solve the problem. Just head to your nearest computer store.

What is the temperature in your home? The only suggestion I can give is add fan inside your CPU. Or, you can also use air-condition unit just to help it. The first suggestion is much better as it is cheaper. Hope this helps.

You should by a cooler. There are many computer coolers for sell so check them out and see if one works for your computer. Or maybe you could try using cold objects and place them on top of your computer parts. When my laptop gets hot, I sleep it and come back to it later.

I have some of question to you: 1. Do you put Dell computer under table? If yes, Please look around on your computer location. Most case, computer under desk are very dirty. 2. will you open the dell computer? If no, You must planned to buy a new PC next year. If your answer yes, first step - you turn off and open side door of your PC. second step - inspect on your fan and dust (just used your vacuum cleaner - don't blow with air that it will make your fan fail). Third step - just leave open cover and try turn on your computer. Check rotation on every fan. 3. Is it rotate? If yes, You have to thing external cooling or other location. Hopefully, It will solve your problem...

is it a laptop or a desktop? if its a laptop, i suggest you get a laptop cooler. they usually cost about 20 bucks, and it really does work. if you have a desktop, find some free software online that lets you regulate your fans, and crank them up. its going to be louder, but it will also be cooler. this also has its inherent risks because you can blow the fans out if you put them on too strong for too long. this is all i can think of doing without opening the computer up and putting in a new cooling system.

Hi colydf, Congrats as you have bought Dell computer but i think i am very late to wish you buddy lolzz... Anyways, you are now encountering problem with it. I don't think that getting hot is a big problem to your computer. First check out SMPS fan which is the fan that controls your computer heat. It is responsible for the cooling effect for the mother board. I think it is only the problem which is to be solved for your computer. If it needs to be replaced then first solve it as soon as possible. The ICs are cooled with the help of that fan. All the best. Keep smiling and happy mylotting :)
