Hi mylotters! Do you ever feel like you are back at high school while you are at work? (sarcastic) I just feel so lucky to get to hear some of the stupidest and childish discussions or arguments, lol (sarcastic). Just the other day about half of my team argued over the new rule that we where not allowed to wear sandals to work anymore because it could be a fire hazard. They all got mad and started complaining and asking questions like 'What kind of sandals?' or 'Are they considered a sandal if they have a strap'?. We were actually lucky for the time that we were allowed to wear sandals because most offices will not allow it at all. I think I outgrew that phase a long time ago and I'm 24 but some of these people are in their 30's and still acting like they are a teenager. Does this happen at your workplace too? Thanks for any responses in advance and Happy Mylotting!

The same thing happens at my work. Some of the people are decades older than me too! They complain about the dress code, the lack of free lunches we use to get, diets, exercising, etc. I really want to tell these people to be thankful they even have a job considering how many people are unemployed.

Many of the people I work with are 50's and older. (I am in my 20's) They have been acting like that a lot lately! We got a new boss for the building earlier this year. She made some rule changes - nothing really big or even that really matters. But mst of these people are completely upset about it! They think things shouldnt ever change. I am getting so tired of listening to them complain about everything! Hopefully some of the people you work with will stop complaining soon and just accept it!
