I am pleased as punch that I found a great Hulu app called Hulu Desktop. I like going to the site sometimes to chill out and watch a couple of TV show. Well, there are times when I really don't want to go to the trouble of logging onto the Internet, so I will find something else to do, like play a game. Yesterday I discovered that Hulu has a desktop version now, and I just had to try it. By yesterday evening I had enjoyed two TV shows that I've been wanting to see. I really like the convenience of this desktop app. So, do you use Hulu? Would such an app come in handy for you? '

Thanks for the info. Sure it would be nice for me. I love the regular Cable sites that do the same thing. I have always enjoyed Charmed and Angel and I can go to TNT to watch them as well on internet as on Cable. Love it. I have to see them like clock work or I feel deprived.

I know what you mean, celticeagle! I'm crazy over Stargate Atlantis, and now I've discovered The Listener.

No I don't hulu. I get so much instant watch items from Netflix (I bought the box that lets you beam instant items from your Queue to your TV) that I haven't tried hulu. Currently I am watching Dexter on it.

If you have a PC you can watch instant for free on a PC, not a Mac (which would be my problem). I believe the box cost me around $100. Not too bad--especially for all the enjoyment I have gotten out of it.

I just love Dexter, Aurone! They ran a whole season on CBS a couple of years ago and I was expecting it to return, but it never did. I have Netflix, but don't know if I can afford to buy the box. Is it very expensive?

I went to hulu.com the other day and saw they have a bunch of episodes of King of the Hill and Family Guy on there that I missed. I think it is great that they have these for free online now. I hope that they add lots more shows on there soon. I had not heard of the desktop application - thanks for the heads up, I am going there in a few minutes to check it out. Have a great day and happy myLotting!!!

You only need to register for an account(free), dloveli. With network TV being so dull these days I enjoy the chance to watch some of the cable TV shows on Hulu.

I love the concept of Hulu... however their player has never worked well with my PC. It's not anything original though... sometimes you can just go to a networks page and watch your favorite shows... like FOX, Sci-Fi, Discovery etc.I wish the Hulu player would work though.... the have a few shows I love to watch. Eureka being one of them.

I watched The Listener for the first time yesterday via the desktop app, and the reception was perfect. It is still in Beta though.

I love Hulu! I wish they would update it more and get more shows on it as well as movies. The movies are pretty out of date. Either way I definitely love watching family guy and arrested development on there. Great way to watch past shows!

I'm a fan of Family Guy myself, Martinishakerer, and I love to watch episodes of Stargate Atlantis on Hulu. Flixter does show some movies, but they also need to add more content.

I can't watch Hulu, so I'll have to stick with the TV.
