noticing effects of water exercise, and wondering

So I've been teaching water aerobics for 6 weeks- 3x a week for an hr. This week I get to go up to 5 classes (adding 2 more hrs) and I am starting to notice results! I notice that my thighs are trimmer, and my legs and my arms are getting more muscle! I'm so proud, I actually have muscles I can feel in my arms! Only question.... when do I start burning off fat? I mean, I might be seeing it a bit, but I'm talking about the belly, the upper arms, that kind of thing? I'm not starting from a fit place, so anything is better. I'm about a women's size 18.
