Do you believe a Girl and Boy can be best friends of each other?

No i am not agree because when one guy and girl becm best friends they know each other very personally and after some day they depend upon each other highly which turn in to one type of love ,because when ever they need help they will first search for their best friend and it is very difficult to avoid the good being of each other

Hi hireshd.Yes,I believe it.I am a woman.When I was singel,I have friend.He is my best friend.we were share together.We have same activity.We went together,we be presented at invitation together.He was visited my house often.Yes,many people think that we we "be boy and girlfriends".But we were not.We were commit that our relate just like brother and sister.difficult to believe but that's it.Now,I was marriaed,so does he.We still visit each other.

I do believe that this is possible and may be a healthy relationship only UNTIL one of them does commit to a romantic relationship. I don't think that girl and boy best friends would work out well with their own girlfriend and boyfriend side by side. Let me put it this way: I'm a girl and let's say I have a guy for a best friend. We tell everyone that there's nothing romantic between us and that "we're just friends" (cliche, I know). So now I get into a romantic relationship with Guy2; wouldn't Guy2 become jealous of my relationship with Guy1 (the guy best friend)? I know I would certainly be jealous if my boyfriend had another girl at his side although he can tell me a thousand times that he's not "in love" with her - but loves her in a simple, friendly way. Also this wouldn't work out either, or more importantly, with married couples. You husband/wife should be your best friend. If you're closer to some other people than to them... then I think you married the wrong person. Thanks for the response on my discussion :)

why can't a girl and boy be best freinds and not be in love..? it is possible and there are many people who have been able to set examples for it. the realtionship depends as to how you define it. if you are best freinds and and wish to limit the relation at this point then you can do it by clear definition. there is a huge difference between friendship and love. if the boy and girl are able to understand this difference then the relationship would not be messed up.

Yes I do, growing up I had more boy space friends then girl friends... Just because someone is of different gender does not mean that they automatically are going to fall in love and the whole nine yards.. Some of those relationships may turn into something more in the future.. But others never get that far.. They do not want to jeopardized the close relationship that they have now by further complicating things. They would rather just be best friends... Other people around them may say or think differently but in the end no of it really matters... That is between the two best friends.

Yes both can be friends for life.. Just by seeing ones heart not by seeing one beauty.. there is something called inner beaty that really matters.. not the external beauty that doesnt even last long.. relationships may come to an end.. but friendship never comes to an end.. friendship is very much greater than relationships.... thats for sure...

It is well debated subject.But I believe there can be real friendship between agirl and a boy if they want.There is no problem in it. I have few guy friends with whom I am really good friend.

Yes I do because I have exactly this relationship with two of my friends. Really platonic, brotherly love. Both friends are the only child so they consider me their lost sister. My husband love them dearly too. He knows that they will take care of me when he is not around. Both are very protective over me and are godparents to my daughter.

Yes, I believe that a guy and girl can be best friends - it is not love. I have practiced it in my life. Me and my colleague were good friends and many people thought that we were in love. We both were very sure about our relationship and very sure that it will not end in love. I even used to talk to his parents and they knew that we are good friends. I think a boy and girl can be best friends if you define your friendship very well and you believe in you. I was very sure that I will never marry him becaue he is from a different religion. But, I liked him and I felt that he is a good friend. But, we are not best friends now becaue I am married and moved to a different city and there are very low chances to meet and things like that..

Both gender can be best friends for life without being in love with each other, I accept this fact because I am friend with a boy I knew since I was a child, we have shared many wonderful moments being friends an we still do just that now our interests are more mature. We can study the same subject for a research work. We have never wanted to fall in love with each other though, Now we each have a partner in life and we are happy with each other so best friends amoung girl and boy do exist.
