Well, the Lakers parade is almost here. The people of Los Angeles get to pay homage to their god-like athletes, like the people of Rome celebrated the greatness of their emporeors. But instead of having a parade for athletes, how about a parade for the real heroes returning from Iraq and Afghanistan? Just a thought.
