chocolate vs ice cream

Lets start with a nice slice of chocolate cake, then add a scoop of chocolate ice cream, drizzle on some chocolate syrup, and sprinkle with shaved dark chocolate..... Thats what I just had for desert... yummy.... when I was little I liked anything that has tons of sugar in it and was sweet, ice cream of course was more of a summer treat and chocolate was around all year. I cant really say I liked one better than the other but the anticipation of ice cream during the summer months made it more of a treat than chocolate. Now, being much older, I like them together, and I think the first line of my reply shows why. Whats your favorite? You asked us the question without giving your own answer.
