I think you are right with 3 years. I wondered that when I first joined and 3 years is the best answer I came uo with afetr searching peoples profiles lol.

I think myLot was 3 yrs. old in April or May. I know I have been an active member here for over 2 1/2 yrs. even though my Profile says 3. I know there are quite a few still active here who have been around here about as long as I have while there are many who have been gone a long time. But for me I am Glad it continues to stay around as myLot will always continue to be a Great place to be.
