Hello everybody! Just got something in my email and I thought I would share it. It's a new book on depression. Quite revelatory and truth to be told, the information is quite a relief. This is the latest book of Dr. Mary Ann Block. "Just because you're depressed doesn't mean you have depression." Do peope get depressed? Yes Is it a disease? No The book covers: . How hormonal imbalances in pregnant and new mothers can be misdiagnosed as depression. . How certain untreated allergies can affect your mood and make you feel depressed. . How depression symptoms might actually be from an underactive thyroid gland and why your doctor may not know how to accurately evaluate it. . Which nutritional deficiencies can cause you to feel depressed. . Other underlying causes that may be making you feel depressed and what you can do about them. nice thought but its all pants! yes there are some people don't understand what depression is and when they are feeling sorry for themselves in one way or another they think they have got depression but there are people who do generally have depression for life and only they understand what it is like and it is really annoying when people doubt.

This is indeed very helpful to people and thank you for sharing this site with us here. Depression is surely not a disease as we can overcome it with our own will and methods so it all depends on how fast the person want to overcome it, there should be " I can overcome it", the confidence is a great thing.
