With the development of modern media , public figures's privacy is easily exposed to the public. Some people say that as a star it is their duty to satisfy people's curiosity. What do you think ?

I don't think that it's actually a "duty" of a celebrity to satisfy the curiosity of the public by intentionally exposing themselves and their lives for public scrutiny. However, I do believe that they are perfectly aware that that is exactly what their jobs' risks is. I would perfectly understand if they were to try their best to keep their lives private. The easiest step there is to probably avoid talking about it in their public appearances - if you don't talk about it in front of the media, then they won't have an easy time finding out for themselves :) I also do believe that IF their lives are publicly exposed due to paparazzi and other media gossip machines, then they shouldn't be complaining about it. As I said, it's a risk that they took. They shouldn't have taken the job if they valued their privacy more than such a career :) Thanks for the response on my discussion :)

Thanks for your response. Yes i agree with your opinion. I think the celebtities also have the right to maintain their privacy. However, public figures should also regulate themselves and set a good example for the public.

I don't think that it is a star's duty to satisfy people's curiosity. The public should use the manners their parents should have taught them and keep their nose out of other people's business. A star's job is just that--a job. They shouldn't be expected to divulge their personal life. We as regular employees with regular jobs don't have to give up our privacy. Unfortunately, society has made it such an non-private job to have. That being said, a person needs to beware that when they choose to become someone in the public eye they "enter at their own risk". When you are someone in the public eye, you will have people admiring you, looking up to you, etc. and that is generally what most people want when they decide to pursue that occupation. If it is too much and you want your privacy, if it is becoming threatening to your safety or your family's safety or well being, then you should get out of that situation. Fame, money and influence are really the only benefits to being a star. Fame and money doesn't last forever. You can't take it with you when you go and you shouldn't risk the joy or well being of yourself or your family to keep it. A star can leave the public eye, but still use their influence to help others.

First thank for your response.I must say that you really express your opion in a clear way. People must lose something when trying to get something . As a star's job is very particular, the stars sometimes have to sacrifice thier privacy to catch people's attention. But we people should also try not to pay much attention to stars' personal life.
