what did you do when your back is itching? or when some parts of your body is itching that you can't reach? did you usually ask for somebody to scratch it for you/ or you do all the effort to do it yourself, like rubbing your back against the wall? me, sometimes i do rub my back against the wall to relieve it from itching or sometimes i ask for my husbands help to scratch it for me...which sometimes annoys him! hehehe... how about you? please share. thanks & have a nice day!

I smiled upon reading this discussion because I remember my husband when it comes to back itching! :) He will always tell me to scratch it or if I am not readily available, He will call our three year old daughter to scratch it, but my daughter will give her a comb instead! :)

hehehe, i think fathers are like that, coz i remember my father when having his back itch he always call for me or my brother to scratch it for him and sometimes my mom and we also do what your daughter do and he will look badly to us...hehehe. what we do is we bought him this long stick with a small hand on tip...so that he can do it himself the next time... but still, when his back is itching, he will still call us, not to scratch his back but to look for that stick...which sometimes is still annoying...how come he don't do it himself...but sometimes we just make a fun out of it... thanks aj for sharing, you also reminds me of my father with your response! good day! :-)

Hello ckyera , actually I can reach my back with either hand. I just tried it. But if I could not reach any part on my back I probab;y would get something to help with the itch likke a stick. I used to have a stick with a little hand at the end that my grandfather gave me years ago. If my b/f is with me I ask him to scratch it for me and I do the same for him.

It's been a long long time ever since i had a back itch.. lol =D I sort of missed that kind of good feeling when someone is scratching it for me.. haha =D IT's even better we feel the itch and yet we cant seem to find the exact spot.. haha =D When i was a kid, i used to ask my mom to scratch it for me, because it really feels good that i dun wanna stop.. haha =D But as i grow older, the itch seems to disappear along with my lifespan.. haha =D

hehehe...i think you need to find one who will do the scratch for you aside from your mom! hehehe yes it really feels good when someone is scratching our back...and now that you said that the itch seems to disappear as you age, wow that's nice. but how about me, why didn't it disappear? i think i'm older than you...

Hello ckyera, when my back itches, will usually use my hands. If it didn't get to the 'spot'. I will look for a rough towel and use as if I'm wiping my back. That's my way of scratching!

Well if my back itches or another part of my body itches and I cant reach it, I sometimes lean against something like the wall or use a safe object that has a long reach to scratch it with, and sometimes if a close relative is around I might ask them to scratch it for me lol.

Your hubby is sounds similar to my husband. Everytime i asks him to scracth my back he always complain. So sometimes i don't bothered him. i just do all my effort to reach and scratch my back or the easy way, rubbed my back against the wall hehehe.

hehehe, well i think that's the least we can do...just go on the wall and rub it against! that's the easier thing to do than look for something that we can use to reach it... but, why is it that they complain, when during the time that it is them who have itching back...they also ask for our help and sometimes they are more demanding on it! hmp! but anyway i understand him coz i am also like that sometimes! thanks rainmark!

if its my back i just use part of my wall and rub it on there that works most of the time or i just grab what ever is around and use it to get the itch,

Same here. Sometimes rubbing against the wall is satisfying than letting somebody to rub it. It would be sometimes a cause of a little quarrel to a couple when the one scratching can't find the exact portion to be scratched and the other one are felt already so itchy that she/he can't wait anymore..it's so frustrating and sometimes it will go on funny moment...

yes its very true and i must admit that it also happens to us! waaaaah! its annoying when the other one didn't hit the right itching spot! but anyway sometimes its a sweet thing to do...asking the help of your partner to do such simple things like this...haay! sometimes, things that we think is funny can ends up in quarrel and then when we realized that its just a very simple thing that causes your quarrel then it will become funny again... i wonder how small things can start a quarrel? or even how some happy moments can ends up in quarrel? thanks for participation...

My back doesn't usually get itchy, even when it is itchy, because my arms are pretty long so I can reach up and down so I don't have problems scratch by myself :p My hubby always has a scratchy back and need me help him to scratch :p0

it happens to me all the time, and what i do is ask someone to scratch my back for me... or if i am all by myself, i get a comb or a stick and use it to scratch my back. and if still that doesnt satisfy i stand up and just rub my back on the wall, or tree... lol... that would sure stop the itching

I guess it is only the middle part of my back that I can not reach when it is itchy. Yes, you are right. I've had scratched my back using the wall. At times, I have asked someone else to scratch my back.

well just like anybody else here...that's the simplest thing to do...asks for someone's help or just rub it against the wall!

When my back gets itchy, it means I need a shower. Then if it's still itchy, I'd probably use a lotion. When the skin is dry, it gets itchy. The lotion will help moisturize the skin. But if an insect bit me, which is causing the itchiness, I'll use an ointment medication for insect bites.

hi joclouds, but how will you put an ointment at your back? can you do it alone or asks someone to put it for you? thanks! :-)

When no one is around to help and my back itches where I can't reach it, I will use a ruler or a long wooden spoon to scratch it myself :D Karen

I usually use a back scratcher if no one is around otherwise I ask someone or I use the corner of a wall, that usually works too.
