Yes, I am. Once I was on the way back to home in bus after work. I was very tired and kind of sleeping in bus. I found that my purse is missing as soon as I got down from the bus. I couldn't do anything. I had around $20 and my credit card in the purse. I was very tensed, right away went to the bank and blocked the card. One year after this incident my purse was gone in a busy bus. Do you have any similar experiences to share?

Just one time when I was celebrating my birthday with some friends, two guys came and tell them to give them the money, but instead of that, they begin to talk to us, and they said that we were forgiven, ha ha very curious experience.

Fortunately,I never had this kind of experience before. But I have a few friends who ever had their wallets taken by pick pockets. We should always aware of the surroundings especially when we are in public transports and crowded places.

It is great to hear that you are never robbed. Yes, we should be very careful while using public transport. My experiences with pick pocketers made me extremely careful now a days. Thanks for the response.

I am sorry my friend. Now a days robbers are everywhere in differnt costumes. They are people who concentrated and exprienced on a particular type of robbery. There are groups which rob together. We should be very careful especially while travelling in public transport and in crowded places such as malls. Thanks for the response.

I am very lucky to say that I have not experienced being pick pocketed by a thief. This is one thing I am sure of, is to make sure I keep all my things inside my bag everytime I go out to the mall. I hardly misplace my phone since I always look for it just to make sure I have it intact. A tip for everybody, always check it not because you are getting paranoid but it really helps making sure you do not lose anything.

Hi daliaj, such unexpected case had happened decade of years back. The dreadful situation is still vivid in my mind every time when I recall it. It’s 8 pm or so one Friday night, my husband, my little boy and I were hanging around the busy street. I was thirst of the pisang goring (deep fried banana) when passing by the stall. The yummy fragrance of the deep fried banana and sweet potato made me nearly drooling We then had a pause in front of the stall. While waiting for the lady to wrap the frying stuffs, a man snatched my purse from my back in a sudden. I yelled aloud for help and chased after him at the same time, followed by my loved ones. I never thought that there was a motorcycle waiting for him in a near distance in the dark. I could do nothing and just seeing them disappearing on the vehicle in the dark. I reported this case to the nearby police station then. I had lost my identity card, credit cards, driving license and cash as well. It’s really disappointed that the police haven’t arrested any culprit until now . Since then I always put my purse in my jeans pocket for the sake of safety. Happy posting and have a nice day!

Once I had a pick pocket in a crowded bus.It was a terrible experience as I had felt something was going wrong..... I somehow managed to save my purse but I lost my cell phone...I had a very bad time in filing a general dairy at the local police station... The inspector is asking too many questions as if I am the person who is guilty.

Yes, sometimes it is very hard to deal with police men. Police should be given proper training on how to deal with people. I can understand your sadness and irritation on loosing your cellphone because I had gone through a similar experience. I am sorry.

Me too, I have been robbed a couple of times. Once in the bus, I lost my wallet. It had some important documents apart from cash. Another time it was in train. I was carrying a big amount of money, and I don't know how it was stolen, when I reached home and opened my suitcase, I found the money missing. I don't know how anyone managed to steal it. I don't remember leaving it unattended for a minute.

I am sorry my friend. It sounds strange. Did you find any marks or holes in the suitcase? Was it locked? I don't understand how a robber managed to get money out of it.My dad lost a lot of money once. Thanks for the response.

I am sorry friend. I know that it is very difficult to miss cellphone and all the contacts. But, it is amazing that you got it back after 6 months. Usually it is very difficult to get cellphone back once it is lost becuase the robber will take the sim card out and use it.

It happened to me once. It was on October last year. In a public car transport, i lost my cellphone. I didn't realize if i lost my cellphone until i arrived at my boyfriend's home and he asked me where's my cellphone. When i realized i lost my cellphone, i felt like so down. I was dissapointed with myself. How could i'm so careless. But my boyfriend asked me to let it gone and no need to blame myself. Soon later, within 2 weeks, i got a luck from my project and i bought a new and better cellphone for myself. I said it was a blessing of my sincerity. Have a nice day and happy mylotting.

I am sorry my friend. It is a big deal to loose cellphone. When I lost my phone, I didn't even knew my boy friend's or my dad's number. I have neither written it down anywhere nor remembered it. I was very upset and sad. The only number I knew was my house land line number, but nobody was at home during that time. Then, I came to office, send a mail to my boy friend asking his number. It was a horrible incident. Luckily your incident made you get some luck from your project and buy a new better cellphone.

well, i have never had incidents with pick pockets or thieves. But in this contex i would like to mention about people who steal books! Yes books. I was in my 3rd grade in school and have been scoring the highest in the 1st and 2nd grade. I was always known for keeping the study material intact and uptodate. (I was known for my sketching too and i used to help other students once in a while). Right before my winter exams i lost a few books (while i was trying to help one of the students in drawing an athlete). And then that year was a total mess and the subsequent years weren't good either. I kept scoring low and lost my rank in the class. I will never forget this incident because i was screwed up for someone elses mistake/theft!

this situation has happened to me twice, i was really lucky none of my things got stolen. my first experience was in a jeepney. It was crowded and i needed to go to school because i was late, the guy on my left kept pushing me to the right, i thought it natural because as i said it was really crowded. when the people on my right went down the jeepney, i worked my way to the opening of the jeep, to my surprise, my bag was slashed open! and the one who slashed it was still sitting next to me. I pretended that i didn't notice anything. I wanted so badly to have the jeep pull over, but i thought that if i go down right away, the man may stalk me. so i waited for him to go down. Good thing nothing happened to me. I was really disappointed with the bag since i really saved up to buy the bag and it was ruined.

Many years ago I was waiting on a tram to get me from the airport to my car, some man walked by and said I had nice feet. (okay seriously who says that) he walked back by several times with a partner in crime. When the tram pulled up he offered to help me with my luggage, about that time I feel a tug on my purse, I turn around and small 5'3 me starts to yell at this big 6 foot guy and his 6 foot friend, I screamed at the top of my lungs, caused a big scene, the police came and turns out they had seven wallets on them, they had been doing it all day long and well had it not been for me being stupid enough to yell at them they would have gotten away with it.

one time i was partying with a few freinds. the discussion of posibly stealing his aunts car had come up. I personaly wanted nothing to do with this plan so i left. the next mourning the police were at my house asking me about the car. Instantly i knew what had happened to the car, but i kept it to myself. No one had ever known what happened to the car but sometime it sits in the back of my mind. Could i have prevented it? Should i have told the police the truth?....kinda one of them things you never forget
