Gladiolas From Her Secret Pal

At my wife's office they have secret friends and man did we luck out with Jenny's secret pal. Jenny talks so much about how we are loving gardening so she gets little things that fit right in with our newest hobby. Gladiolas, 12 in a box, and then a couple of weeks later another box with 12 more. Perfect for the front yard on either side of the front steps. Well she took those bulbs and planted a dozen on each side of the steps and she has checked them every day since. Then one day I noticed that a couple of Glads were poking through the soil. She is so excited, these Glads are the first bulbs she ever planted.. Imagine what she will be like when they get leaves and then grow flowers. It'll be awesome.
