I love the dallas cowboys so i always get into arguments with people about the whole team and the person that pops up most in the duscussions is Tony Romo. Even after a bad game i always defend him and say he is a good QB. What do you think?

Tony Romo is not that good of a quarterback but he is not the reason that the cowboys cant win any important games they just plain arent as good as they are supposed to be.

It's really hard to tell at the moment. So far in his career he has benefited from having great receivers like Terrel Owens and Jason Witten to throw to. I feel like anyone who has the kind of receivers Romo has had will do well in the NFL. Also, his historic collapses at the end of seasons and in the playoffs don't help support his cause. This season will be huge to see if he can step up without Owens to throw to. Overall, I think he is a good QB, and only that. Whether he deserves to be a Pro Bowler remains to be seen.

My brother is a huge Dallas Cowboys fan, and he really likes Tony Romo. Besides, anyone who can make it as far as the NFL has to be good right! I think it is good that you stand up for your team. I am a fan of the famous Loveable Loser's, the Chicago Cubs, so I am used to standing by my team whether they win or lose. Keep up the good spirits. That's what sports are all about!

I really like the improvisation Romo shows off when a play breaks down. There were a few plays last season that make be blurt out "Dude...How'd be pull that off?" He kinda reminds me of Favre. I'm not such a comparasian would be taken as a complament with the current on going(and never ending) Is He Playing Or Retiring Again saga. With Owens gone, Romo is now the THE top guy in Dallas. As long as he still has that QB Commandments list Parcells gave him, I think he'll be just fine as the leader of The Dallas Cowboys.
