Has anyone ever had a problem with drugs?

Has anyone here ever had a problem with drugs or been affected by someone who has? I personally have had a problem with drugs and know how hard of a thing to get past it is. i also know the kinds of things i put my family andf people i love through. not a day goes by where i dont think about not only the pain i endured but the pain my family endired also. If you have had a problem with drugs what kinds of things do you feel about what you where doing to yourself and your family? Also if someone you loved was addicted, what kinds of feeling did you personaly go through? Im trying to look at thius from both ends of the spectrum, and am intrested to see who other people reacted im similar situations.
