This is a young team with a lot of upside. They have the basic building blocks of a great future team. They should continue to get better. I think they will go deeper in the playoffs next year. We'll see how well this team develops. With the right moves by management and maturing of the core players they have this team could be a real contender soon. I'm a Raptors fan and frankly I wish they had more of what the Blazers have.

If the team remains as is for the next 3 years and with the addition of a good point guard and center and barring any serious injuries, they could vie for the title in 3 years from now.

I really like how they are building this Portland team. I'm a Chicago Bulls fan, but have noticed how the Blazers have collected a bunch of young stars. Brandon Roy, Greg Oden, and Aldridge really are going to blossom into super stars out West. I predict a deep playoff run next year, but they still aren't talented or experienced enough to get by the top few teams, such as the Lakers and Nuggets.

Well actually, the blazers played the lakers in portland, the first time in january lakers won, and then they played again in portland and the blazers won by 28 and then they played again in portland i Apr. and they won by 13. they can beat them at home, but not at the lakers home. We beat Denver badly on the last game of the season. Thats when Rudy Fernandez broke the rookie record for 3 pointers in a game!
