You meet a girl in internet because she viewed your profile..You asked her her number..She gave it to you..After how many months she told you that she was an ex-girlfriend of your closest friend..She didn't realized that you are already in love with her..Too late in telling you that she was an ex-gf of your close friend..

Why does this have to affect you and her relationship. It is not as if you and her is talking when they were a couple. I see nothing wrong in continuing this relationship. If you indeed love this person then look beyond the past and concentrate on having a wonderful future with her.

So, what is the matter here. If he/she was ex to some of your closest friends, so what? You can't still date her/him as he/she is available? Don't mind all of those mundane stuff, you can still date him/her whatever relationship he/she get into with your closest friends. Maybe sound awkward, as long as you willing to try and give yourself a chance to find love.
P.S. by the way, which internet dating site do you sign up to?
