have you tryed running checkdisk? ther might be a shizzle lode of corruptions on that drie, however a bsod is usually caused by a bad ram modual, or video card. and as for the internet issue with safe mode, you need to boot into safe mode with networking support.

isatap - tunnel.sys Realtek RTL8101E Family PCI-E Fast Ethernet NIC (NDIS 6.0) - rtlh86.sys Microsoft Tun Minipoort-adapter ( teredo tunnling pseudo interface) -tunmp wan miniport (ipv6) (network monitor) ndistapi ndiswan wan miniport ( 2tp) rasl2tp wan miniport pppoe raspppoe wan miniport (pptp) raspptp These are the drivers that don't seem to load ( they have a ! icon) but cause the blue screen to appear... I hope someone knows how to delete these drivers and/or update them. One of them I could update and that driver worked fine again. The !-icon dissapeared.

why don't you try this before reinstalling vista or another os.... if your computer starts by chance just try and see if it works after you restore your computer to a previously working condition... try and see if that works. well reinstalling the vista is very easy, just restore your computer to the original factory settings, if any virus or software problem was there then it would be rectified...

Hi voldrox, guess from where I react to your post? From home! It works again but I didn't have to format the whole stuff fortunately, I just needed to update my network drivers as something went wrong. I wasn't able to update my wan-miniport drivers though but I don't use that so that's no problemo.

This screen is called BSD. It happens when you have installed any new program or hardware that malfunctioned or could be possible coz of RAM. get your RAM Checked or you can check it on any other PC to see if its working fine...if nothing solves the problem then try chkdsk utility in dos mode and if this also doesn't work then you have no option but format....

Indeed it's called BSD, I found it out through the property option of the error message I received after the next boot. Thanks for your help, I will try it and report back to you.

Have you installed any applications lately? if so go into safemode and uninstall the latest program you installed. This happened to me once. Does it say something like Bios Update or something of that sort? if that doesnt work you can try going to system restore. it doesnt remove anyof your files it keeps them intact and it should fix your problem. Goodluck :D cheers

I have already removed 90% of all the progeams installed so I don't think that's the problem. |The problem lies in the fact that due to me shutting of the computer through cutting of the power, something got damaged. Thanks for your time. :)

It is possible when your memory is not sufficient for running all the programs ..To resolve this problem you can increase your virtual memory to get this problem solved

It had nothing to do with insufficient memory, if I wouldn't have enough memory my computer would run slow rather than restarting.

Yea in safe mode everything is all offline....are you able to boot into regular or only safe? If you can only boot through safe mode then u should still be able to scan your hard drive for viruses....this most likely sounds like a windows registry error which would mean u need to re-install windows...if that is the case you will lose all of your information unless you have another computer to back it up to.

Is it possible to use the xp recovery cd for vista? If so, I could try to recover vista and burn the recovery stuff of vista which is on my computer to a few dvd's and reinstall vista. Yes, I can only boot in safemode; in regular mode the blue screen comes up after a few minutes , I have as well scanned for viruses, a few viruses and trojans have been found and removed, so I don't think the problem is caused by an issue in the register.

This usually Works, try booting into last known good configuration. also in safe mode you can boot with network connectivity. also if you can boot to safe mode, then goto system restore and restore to a prior restore point when your computer was working. What has happened is one of the required files became corrupt and is needed to run in normal mode, doing one of the things I mentioned should fix your problem

My dad is an IT guy and he knows a lot of computers. I've had that problem a lot. I'm a heavy user of computers. Basically your vista crashed. You have to reinstall it. But first copy your private data to a external hard disk using safe mode. And what I'd like to say as well since you work with vista: buy XP again! Vista is just a major bug collection. There is not one thing that works as it should (this is what my dad said). So call your local computer store, ask if your computer works with XP and reinstall it. If you absolutely want to work with vista that's okay but I'm just saying, this won't be the first time you have this problem. When you have reinstalled vista or XP make a back up copy of your entire operating system on a external hard disk. It's way much easier to reinstall
