Designing a collage for photos lying uselessly!

There are hundreds of photographs lying idle or say useless in the cupboards or almirahs, which irk me and now I am thinking of planing a collage for the walls of my kids room and my own bedroom! Would it be a nice idea rather than usual albums and stacking them over there, closed and never to be seen!
