i have always watched people waste their lives by taking drugs and other life destroying substances and then end up being more frustrated than ever before in life and then claim that life is unfairly cruel.would you advise one in the similar situation to reconsider their thoughts.

I think the main problem is the attitude. I have also seen peopel who indulged in PC games all the time and finally spent all of their money and said the world is so unfair. If they can change their position and view problem from a different angle. Why can they put theri time on the meaningful stuffs and earn respect from others. In this way, they can find the world is much better than before.

Maybe the surrounding environment and family background which they exist at play a negative role to their behaviors and the attitude.Confronted with the similar cases, i sometimes feel helpless because of my strength is too small to change them.

Life is an echoe we have to give our best to get a great deal back but sometimes cruel as it may seems that sometimes our best is simply not enough and we have to give what is required in which we fail considerably sometimes so all these are part of this life, if we constantly have a positive mind then we might understand this life but if we again fail in understanding this life which is sometimes a daring adventure or nothing then we are left nowhere. So Everyone has a right to do whatever he wants and we can only talk to some if we find them in our way and if they accept our advise which is not necessarily the best one they might have then they can be doing some good to themselves but if they decline our help then we must move ahead instead of waiting to smell the roses.

Nope. We are who we are and we do what we do. Life is cruel and it's can be very difficult at times. But the only way out of it is going through it. Life is a continuing learning experience.
