how many of you here knows how to swim?since when?

I learnt how to swim when i was ten.I was taught how to swim in a lesson when i was at school.I do not like going in the sea to swim,but i love to swim in a swimming pool.Four of my children can swim,they were taught by me.I think all children should be taught how to swim as you never know when they may need it.

i do know how to swim, took lessons when i was 12 years old. swimming is one of my favourite sports and past time!

I never learned how to swim. I like getting in the pool but there is no way that I would attempt to get in the ocean, I don't even get wet at the beach.

My mom is afraid of the water, and never learned to swim...BUT she made sure all 7 of us kids learned to swim as soon as we learned to walk. She did not want us to be afraid of enjoying swimming like she was. so when my brothers and sister and me were young we learned to swim through lessons at the ymca. and i did the same thing making sure that my children learned to swim at a young age.

I can't and I never learned to swim. My mom was very protective and she was afraid we'd get droned whenever we go near the water.

Hi flagella . . before I can ever remember I learned how to swim! my dad didnt give e a choice . . . for my mom told me before I was even out of diapers he had me in the water . . so i guess you could say for me . .it was either sink or swim

Hi, yes i know swimming, and i like a lot, i try to swimming for one hour every week if is possible. Is so healthy, and relaxing same time, and why not can save our and others life in every situation. My parents insist to learn to swimming when i was kid, i think that i were 7 years old, and i was to a course,,,and after i swimming all my life in all ocasions when i was near sea, pool, ocean or a lake. Few years ago, when i was visiting Dubay, in vacance, because i know to swimm, i help a little arabian kid , and i rest friend with his family, Was great, i go there 3000 km just to help a kid. Was nice any way.

yes i do! since my elementary days, i already know how to swim. i dont know how i learned from it, but since i was a kid, when my two brothers tried on swimming i do along with them. and ofcourse with my dad too. they help me i guess and give me confidence on doing that thing, and now i am glad i did know how to swim. jhelai

same here.....i am also afraid of going far away from the shore as i don't know to swim.......but i really want to learn to swim....when i see some of my friend who are great swimmers dive in deep well nd lake i really feel that i could also do that......it is so much swimming.....i would love to learn swimming......

Yes, I know how to swim and I love to swim, I think it's one of my favorites hobbies and sports and things to do in life, I just love to swim.
