Does Anyone Else Think That Bob Dylan and Tom Petty

sound similar (with the tonal quality of their voices)? If not, how do you believe they sound different? Can you think of other musicians who sound a lot alike?

I think there are similarities to their sounds, but I think I like the songs that Tom Petty has done way more than the ones I have heard from Bob Dylan. I think many of these cookie cutter boy bands and pop star girls sound very similar and I have a hard time telling them apart.

Hi vicki, Yes, I agree with you on the similar sounding 'cookie cutter boy bands...'as you said. And there are some singing voices I've heard that sound so similar to Whitney Houston; I like her singing , but there are a lot of sound-alikes out there. Thank you for your comment.
