paralyized kitten.....NEED HELP!!!

my kitten is only about 7 to 8 weeks old and my dog was licking her and some how paralyzied her hind legs is there any way any one can think of to help find some thig to help her waslk this young the vet says theres nothing he can do to help all he can do is put her down and i dont want that shes so young and i've grown really attached we have plenty of animals but this seems to be the only one i've grown attached to like this well since my last tom cat died 3 years ago i need some advice help or something i dont wanna see her suffer and have to drag her back legs her whole "childhood". what do i do???
