Do you take vitamins everyday?

I seldom take vitamins. My parents always tell me to take vitamins everyday because they say that vitamins can help me in my studies. My parents gave me vitamins but I seldom take it. Maybe perhaps, it is because I don't believe that vitamins can really help me in my studies.

I do take a multi-vitamin every day, plus extra quantities of several supplements recommended by my doctor for certain health issues I have. One would think a well-rounded diet would provide all we need, but in shipping and cooking and such, nutrients can be compromised. When you look at it that way, a good vitamin would hurt no one. Optimum health will help you in whatever you do, including your studies, so unless your diet is stellar, take the vitamins your parent send : )

No, not anymore. When I was younger, i take centrum daily. However few years ago, i've been diagnosed with hyper acidity. So since i had that illness, i'm no longer taking any vitamins especially with high acid content. I just keep an eye to my diet and eat natural foods as well tho couldn't stop with smoking!lol

it is not essential to take vitamins...if you eat enough foods that contain particular vitamins naturally then thats enough...taking more than that actually has no effect on your body, your body will actually excrete the excess vitamins because it can't so anything with it. omega 3 is particularly good for the brain, i think the brand eye-q i think for kids says that reguarly intake increases concentration and hence enhances success in studies but you can get omega 3 from oily fish and eggs
