Recently, video games have been put on the spotlight following the conviction of a teenager whose addiction to Halo video game has resulted in him shooting his parents, that led to the eventual death of his mother. Do you really believe that the video game and its "violent content" contributed to his actions or was he just an individual with natural violent tendencies and the inclusion of video game into the formula was merely coincidental?

I definitely don't think video games make you violent! I think if you have violent tendencies, then yes, you will enjoy violent video games. But I definitely don't think that everyone that plays violent video games have violent tendencies! And for individuals that do have violent tendencies, I think it's better that they act on their violent tendencies in virtual form than to act on them in real life!
