The way you make it seem is that it's a pudge, so I don't want to tell you to go on a certain diet or eating habit. First let me just say that doing exercises to tighten the muscles in your stomach is probably the best bet and first step to getting rid of a little bit of belly fat. Also if you are able, running can help to lose a few lbs. My fiance and I are personally on a slim fast and Yogurt diet. We drink slim fast in the morning, yogurt for lunch, whatever we want for dinner, and then cheese for a late night snack, lol. Although we really should cut back on the cheese intake (so says MIL), I do have to agree that we need to, lol... It's so good though. Sorry for rambling on but I hope my tips help.

@ SomeCowgirl: I want to ask about Slim Fast. Is it effective? I'm thinking of including it in my diet. I have about 6 pounds of vanity weight left that I want to lose.

Daliaj - No Problem russso - Well My fiance and I could say that it works for us, it got us down 6 lbs pretty fast to be honest. Make sure your not allergic to anything in it before using it, I think another member was allergic to Slim Fast. Also try yogurt, my fiance and I eat a yogurt for lunch, 100 calories and it fills us up. We eat it at 2 and we're not hungry until around 5. You also feel like your cheating, lol, because the yogurt is so good. We eat Cinnamon Roll Yoplait Light, yum!

There is absoultely no necessity in going on a diet and the best way to flatten our belly is to do regular Crunches and that is the efficient way to reduce our belly. I used to do 100 crunches a day and I sucessfully reduced my Belly and it is literally flat at present. There is absolutely no need of doing any other exercises and performing crunches will do. Just try yourself. Do not do 100 on the first day. Start with 15 and slowly increase your count till you reach 100. I am sure your belly will get flatter. One more thing, do not perform crunches after your snacks or food. It is always advisable to perform crunches in Empty stomach and one important thing to be noted is that no food should be taken for one hour after taking crunches and only liquid diets are allowed. Have a great day ahead. Happy exercising.

It could be a food intolerance or water retention that makes your belly swollen.

I don't think controlling diet will do a big differnce to belly size. I have cut down on my food and reduced some pounds, but I still have the big tummy. I am worried about that. I am doing some exercises - bending down and up. I think exercises will make some change.

We have the same problem. I got some tips from my friends to flatten my belly. They said that after meals I must stand up for at least 30 minutes. They also told me that I must also try sit ups exercise because that exercise can really help to make my tummy become smaller. After I do their advice I feel that my tummy lessen its largeness. I think it is really helpful, you can try.Happy Mylotting

I do some sit ups every morning. About 30 in my first week, then up to 60 on the second week, and soon on. Now I can make 100 sit ups. You just need self discipline about this. And after you eat, don't let yourself lay-down or even seat, you need to stand for about 15mins. Those are also advised to me when I have the same problem as you.
