What do you think is the purpose of mylot!

I have been here for the past 4 months but have still not been able to gauge the true purpose of mylot.It is not a social networking site in true sense nor does it have a pure writing skill mandate because then it should be paying only one who write well. I think its just a place to get together and just put some words in place . Very few meaningful discussions have drawn my attention. I would love to know from the mylotters what in their opinion is the pupose of this site and would also like to find out some good mylotters whose discussions can be followed .

I've pondered over the actuall main aim of myLot is, other than making their business money. The closest I can come up with is a comparison to Wiki Answers, although it is by no means a direct for direct match as a lot of the discussions started on here are more of a social nature rather than being a pure question.

The goal of Mylot is to make money online. They have this web site where they let people join and share what's on their minds with others.
Mylot knows that content can equal great earnings when done right so they have control over what stays and what goes along with who stays and who gets banned or shut down for going against the terms that make this site work and earn for the Mylot owners.
