How Should Man Utd React To The Ronaldo Departure?

It's quite disappointing to see Man Utd's best player, Christiano Ronaldo, leave the club for a world record fee of GBP80million to Real Madrid. What should Alex Ferguson do now? How should he approach this? Man Utd are a strong team overall. Last season we started to see other players playing more important roles in scoring important goals, whereas there are matches in which Ronaldo played badly and lost so much possession. However, it must be said that Ronaldo is still Man Utd's best player and highest goal scorer, and to lose him is definitely a big loss and can affect Man Utd's title winning chances next season. But what everyone need to see is that Man Utd is a strong team that plays as a team, and is not just about Ronaldo individually. The main reason why Ronaldo scores so many goals is the fact that he takes the role of both penalty and free kick taker, and also he's been given the free role, in which he is free to move about where he likes, and he doesn't have to carry out the defensive duties. Alex allowed him to stay upfront and focus on attacking play. Alex needs to identify who else can be given that sort of role, and what new system of play he can utilize for next season. Should Alex find a replacement straight away? If so, who should it be? Or can he use this as an opportunity to allow Nani the chance to play in the first team? Or should he continue with the team he has, but modify the system, which is, this time, allowing Rooney or Anderson or Fletcher, the free role instead of Ronaldo. It must be remembered that Ronaldo is the free kick taker and also the penalty taker, who should replace Ronaldo for those two duties. I'd like to know your opinions.
