I been working for almost 15 years. For 13 years i was deducted 10% for my tax and every payslip i receive i was saying it isn't fair. It is so big that if its not deducted, i will have a big savings. Then i worked for my present employer and he offered us a good package. He said its up to us if we dont want to be deducted with tax, sss and pag ibig. We agreed because it will alot of saving if we will receive the whole amount of my salary. Now that i was denied with my visa application for Canada for the reason that i didnt submit on Income Tax Return papers. They said i cannot establish the point that i am working and my company is legit and i will be coming back. If im going to think about how much money i save because of no deduction, but then again if i was deducted then maybe they will consider my application.

What you can do is get a letter from your company and reapply for the visa. Yes sometimes one save more when he/she does not pay taxes but you should also remember that when doing business the tax papers will be needed and so one has to decide on what he/she will be benefited from the most.
