Do you believe in the curse of threes?

I knew someone would say it. (Nigel on So You Think You Can Dance just did) Ed McMahon, Farah Fawcett and now Michael. Do you believe famous or related deaths come in threes? A favorite example from my school days was Isaac Asimov, Gene Roddenbery and Jim Henson. Anybody have any other famous groupings of three that led to this superstition?

I don't think so.I'm quite skeptic about those beliefs.I rather believe the good stuff.Good things come in 3s.sample of successful 3s: the Charmed Halliwell sisters, Charlie's angels (drew, lucy, cameron),Destiny's Child...

. . . the Holy Trinity . . . I know the good law of threes has some of its basis in the Catholic Church, but the superstitious use of 3's is much older, I'm sure. Oddly, I was once told "4" is more magical or religious in the Far East. Perhaps someone from that region can comment on that.

Some time ago (and I will endeavor to research when), a superstition came about saying that famous deaths, or deaths linked by some factor, occurred in threes. This week's case, where Michael, Farah and Ed all passed so close to one another has awakened the "curse" talk yet again. Most times the deaths are not that close together but will occur over the same year or season making the connection less clear. Usually after two people in the same entertainment industry die, some people start talking about the "curse" wondering when the "other shoe will drop" so to speak. This time it seemed to happen too quick, but I'm sure someone thought of it.

I don't know none of them and the affair,I'll search the information about them on the internet. I'm opposed to superstition.
