Does anyone know how mylot calculates the amount of money to give? Is it $.01 per post? Do you get more if you have created a discussion that has 20 posts as opposed to one that has 2 or 3? What about pictures? Do you get paid for each picture or only pictures that are commented on? Any information would be greatly appreciated....I have searched and found nothing that tells of this here on the site...

Hi friend, Welcome to Mylot. Well there is no exact calculation for it. They don't pay you by the number of post you make but on the quality. So more quality post you make more you earn. Yes you also get paid for uploading a photo that is related to the discussions. Also remember to comment on the responses you get. As you are new i would suggest you to read guidelines and faq's to understand mylot better.

Thank you for the response....I notice the number going up next to my name, what does that mean? And the little start with the 9 next to yours...what does that mean as well?

It does seem however, if I "add comment" onto someone that has posted on one of my discussions, that it does not add to the number beside my name....but if I start a new discussion or comment on someone's discussion and not on someone's comment, then it adds....so is commenting on someone's comment not "payable material"?

The number besides the names signifies the number of post you have made. When you reach 100 you will also get a star with the rating. If you move the cursor near my star you will get to see my reputation here like xx/100. This reputation is normally given my mylotters here by pressing the + sign near your post were 1 is the lowest and 10 is the highest. You get paid when you add comments to your response but the number besides the name does not increase. Happy Mylotting friend.
