how do you decide who to give "best response" to?

I think that "best responses" should be given to the person who writes a eloquent and intelligent response. But I have seen a lot of people that give best responses to one liners, simply because that person agrees with them. So how do you choose your "best responses" in your discussions?

I agree with you. I choose the best response based on the content and how the person presents their response.

I pick the one that that either give there opinion and explains the reason or the one that I think it's most hunest. I know that there might be no way to know if that is there honest respons but I guess I have to just hope that we are all being honest when we answer the discussions.

I agree with you. I give the best response, to the one who has given me the best response on my discussion, the discussion that I think is truly the best response. Sometimes it's hard to only reward one, though. It would be nice to be able to give best responses in different categories.

Till now i have not selected any best response for the discussion started by me. If i will select then i will go through the whole respose, and will check for all the point very carefully about the matter. If the matter written in response is surely as per the topic of the discussion adnd it conftains no grammer or any other mistake , only then i will select any best response.
