How did the rich find money to bail out banks but not the poor?

As I listened the radio one day this week I heard this concern being raised by someone on the programme. The individual pointed out that for years we have been struggling with the task of eliminating poverty and helping the world's poor. That is such as obvious and continuous chaalenge. The question though is... How is it that the rich have found the cash (billions) to bailout the banks but for years have not done the same for the worlds poor? I found this to be a rather thought provoking view. As usual I would like to hear you views on this. Have you ever thought about this?

I think that maybe correct. The rich-poor gap in the world today is increased. We work harder and barder, but we didn't become more rich.

Where do you think they got the money to bail out the banks... from the efforts of the poor workers.

Definately. The factories and various work places are filled with the poor doing just about all the manual labour for which they are often times paid less than what they are worth. These same poor people are forced to go to these banks to get a loan sometimes and the interest rates are so high. Who benefits from these rates.....??? The rich of course. Its a never ending cycle of the rich using the poor and doing little for them in return.
