India Win in 1st ODI match !!!

Impressive win undoubtedly. However, it was an extremely lackluster bowling performance which obviously doesnot bode well for a team aiming for the numero uno position . The kind of extras they gave away even during crucial junctures suggest that this team is still a work in progress

It was great to see Men in Blue back in winning form after their lose in T20 World Cup. The guys played really well, especially, the blasting of Yuvi was impressive and superb. But even then the batting line up of WI was bad, they played well and given equal competition for Team India.

I think the experts should be 'interrogated' who said the Sabina Park track is a slow one. Then how did Yuvraj fire on a slow pitch? Well jokes apart, but I will say that this win was not that convincing for India, though they will take it. Though the mountain of runs was scored, India never felt safe when the West Indians were batting. It seemed that WI will surely get to the magic figure of 340 to give MS sleepless night. But it was a great Indian Escape to a great win. Though this match will go down as a win in the history, I am sure Mahi might not be that satisfied with the way the boys played. They had no reason to put their hearts in their mouths when they were sitting pretty at 339. But after this cricket is such a game that, any score is not safe and any score is defendable.
