Should marijuana be legalized?

Do you think that marijuana should be legalized? Illegal marijuana trafficking causes so many problems. Do you think the effects of legalizing marijuana would be less than the problems caused due to illegal trafficking of marijuana. As it is, its not like when someone wants to smoke w33d, the fact that it is illegal makes it any difficult to acquire. Atleast if it is legalized, the consumption can be monitored or something. Just a thought. I would really like to know what opinions other people have.
